Wolverhampton Wanderers have been blown away by left back Rayan Ait-Nouri, and want him signed as soon as possible.

The 19-year-old was given the start at left back against Brighton and Hove Albion today, and helped Wolves pick up a win in their penultimate home game of the season.

Wolves’ last home outing was a dismal 4-0 defeat to Burnley, and fans may have been fearing the worst when Lewis Dunk put Brighton ahead in the first half.

However, Dunk was sent off in the second half, and Wolves took full advantage with goals from Adama Traore and Morgan Gibbs-White flipping the game on its head.

It was Ait-Nouri who really stole the show in the eyes of Wolves fans though, as they took to Twitter to rave about him.

Ait-Nouri is only on loan from French side Angers, and has been in and out of the side this season, making 14 league starts and five substitute appearances.

Wolves can turn the move permanent this summer, and fans now want that sorted ‘ASAP’ after today’s display.

Some called Ait-Nouri a ‘baller’, urging Wolves to not even let him leave the stadium without having him signed up long-term, claiming the club ‘have to’ sign him now.
