The Wolverhampton Wanderers speedster was impressive at Molineux but his performance at Seaview split the fanbase.

A number of Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Adama Traore’s performance in their Europa League second qualifying round second leg win over Crusaders.

The 23-year-old put in an impressive performance in the first leg against the Belfast side, with comments along the lines of “best player on the pitch tonight” and “best performance in a Wolves shirt so far” appearing on social media.

However, Traore’s time at Molineux thus far has seen him fail to achieve consistency, with sterling performances often followed up by more lukewarm displays, and at the Seaview Stadium he struggled to make as much of an impact.

Here is some of the reaction from the Wolves fanbase on Traore’s performance, with many remaining optimistic about how he’ll develop going forward, though some were a bit more critical:

Last summer, Wolves signed Traore, making him their record signing for a period of time, by triggering the £18million release clause in his Middlesbrough contract, as reported by BBC Sport, and he enjoyed an impressive start to life at Molineux as he netted a dramatic late winner away at West Ham United in only his third appearance for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.

In all competitions last season, the former Spain Under-21 player made 36 Wolves appearances, scoring that one goal plus registering three assists, according to Transfermarkt, and this term, many Wanderers fans will be hoping he can kick on and truly become an asset for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
