Raul Jimenez could be reunited with Hirving Lozano in the Premier League with Wolverhampton Wanderers eyeing the £25 million-rated Serie A ace, according to Napoli Today.
Wolves’ talismanic number nine has made no secret of his desire to play alongside his fellow Mexico international at club level.
“I did an Instagram Live and they asked me if I wanted Chucky (Lozano at Molineux),” Jimenez told Milenio of his fellow El Tri forward a couple of years ago.
“And I told them ‘yes’. It would be nice to have a Mexican team-mate.”
Jimenez may be in luck. According to reports in Italy, Wolves have been ‘following’ Lozano for some time now.
The former PSV Eindhoven talisman, who moved to Europe after making his name at Pachuca, has never really lived up to his £35 million price-tag at the Stadio San Paolo, even if his performances have improved following a miserable debut season in 2019/20.
Could Lozano join Jimenez at Wolves?
Lozano has started just 16 Serie A matches this season for Luciano Spalletti’s title-chasing Napoli, scoring four times. His inconsistent displays in Italy have not put Wolves off, however, with reports claiming that the Black Country outfit have scouted the 26-year-old on a number of occasions.
This is not the first time Lozano has been tipped to join Jimenez at Molineux either. The jet-heeled winger was linked back in 2018 too, shortly after scoring the winner against Germany at the Russian World Cup.

“Hirving cannot be a player who is not in the starting line-up. If he is not going to be in the first XI, then I think it is in his best interest to leave Napoli,” former Pachuca chief Andres Fassi said of Lozano.
“I think that the best thing would be to move and join another club which values him much more. A club that understands the enormous talent that Lozano has.
“I have known him since he was 13 years old. I would like to say that, in a couple of years, he will be among the top 10 strikers in world football.
“And I say this without a doubt because he is a player who has everything. He has great speed, he has great intelligence, he scores when he has to score, he assists when he has to assist.
“He not a centre-forward, but he scores a lot of goals.”

Despite failing to nail down a regular starting place, Lozano hit the target 15 times for Napoli in 2020/21. He also scored 40 times in 79 games for PSV, firing the Eindhoven outfit to the Eredivisie title.
