Wolverhampton Wanderers had the 21-year-old goalkeeper on their books for three years but he left Molineux in the summer.

Following his release by Wolverhampton Wanderers, goalkeeper Jack Ruddy has joined Ross County, and judging by the reaction from some fans on social media, it looks as though Wolves made the right call in letting the 21-year-old go.
The former Scotland Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 international, who came through the youth system at Rangers, has joined the Staggies on a short-term deal until January after departing Molineux at the end of last season (BBC Sport).
Ruddy emigrated to Murcia in Spain in 2010 and signed a contract with Real Murcia at the age of 15, before returning to Britain in 2014 and linking up with Bury, where he was on their books for two years.
In the summer of 2016, the youngster joined Wolves on a two-year deal, with the option of a further year, for an undisclosed fee, and in December 2017, he extended his contract until the end of the 2019–20 campaign.

However, he failed to make the breakthrough at Molineux and left without making a single senior appearance, being sent out on loan at the likes of Oldham Athletic, Ayr United, and Spanish lower-league sides FC Jumilla and SS Reyes.
Here is what some football fans on social media made of Ruddy’s move to Ross County:
