Wolves duo Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and Kortney Hause have expressed their ‘frustration’ and ‘annoyance’ and missing last night’s game through injury.
The side travelled to Wigan Athletic hoping to build on their 3-1 home win over Brentford at the weekend.
Hause did not feature in the squad for that fixture, but Bodvarsson featured for all 90 minutes.
The injury to Bodvarsson meant more rotation for manager Walter Zenga, with big transfer deadline day signing Ivan Cavaleiro coming back into the starting XI.
Wolves lost the game 2-1, with Will Grigg firing in a late winner for the hosts.
Adam Le Fondre had scored the opener against his former side, before Prince Oniangue netted an equaliser for Wolves.
Wolves now sit 11th in the Championship and have a huge home tie against Norwich City this weekend.
