Wolverhampton Wanderers are in a precarious position in the Championship table.

Wolves centre-back Kortney Hause has explained the importance of his side turning round their poor home form, if they are to begin their climb up the Championship table, as quoted by the Express & Star.

Paul Lambert’s men currently sit in 20th position in the table, but the mood has certainly been lifted around the Molineux, following Wolves’ first win under the guidance of their new manager away at QPR last week.

Their home form leaves a lot to be desired though, with their eight points taken from nine home games being the second worst record in the division, and Hause highlighted that as a specific area of concern, and something that they need to address, when speaking to the Express & Star:

“The QPR win was needed and we just need to continue it – we need to win games. Draws aren’t good enough considering the position we’re in. We’ve got to back it up with another win at home. Even though we’re not really up there, a few wins on the bounce would be massive for the club.”

Hause, 21, has made nine league appearances for Wolves so far this term, and his presence has definitely improved his side’s solidarity at the back, with just nine goals conceded during those outings, in comparison to the 15 they have conceded in the 10 games in which he hasn’t played.

Wolves welcome Fulham to the Molineux today, knowing that win could take them as high as 16th in the Championship table, and it would be the first time they have won successive league games all season.
