Nuno Espirito Santo’s charges claimed all three points at St James’ Park in the Premier League thanks to the right-back’s injury-time winner.

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Conor Coady has singled right-back Matt Doherty out for praise following the club’s 2-1 win at Newcastle United on Sunday.
The visitors took the lead on 17 minutes when Helder Costa’s cross was chested by Diogo Jota and volleyed beyond Martin Dubravka from close range.
Midway through the Premier League game’s first half, however, the hosts were level as Salomon Rondon delivered a precise ball for Ayoze Perez to head home.
Wolves were boosted by DeAndre Yedlin’s sending off just before the hour and were given a reprieve when Willy Boly’s challenge on Perez was not punished by a penalty.
However, Nuno Espirito’s charges could not find the winner during normal time, but as the added minutes were playing out, Doherty headed home on the rebound after Diogo Jota’s shot was pushed into his path.
It proved a great end to Wolves’ week as, just four days earlier, they ended a run of seven league games without a victory by claiming a superb 2-1 win over Chelsea.

Following the result, Coady admitted to being almost in awe of the result and hailed his fellow defender for his foray up the pitch which led to the winning goal.
“It’s an incredible feeling, I’m still a bit shell-shocked by it to be honest,” Coady told the official Wolves website.
“It looked like it was going for a draw to all the players, not just supporters, but the way we broke and the way ‘Doc’ gets up the pitch is phenomenal – he deserves a goal.”
