Wolverhampton Wanderers, Brighton & Hove Albion and Burnley are among the favourites to sign Newcastle United striker Dwight Gayle this week, according to one bookmaker.
Newcastle are preparing to sell Gayle in order to generate funds for new signings, The Daily Mail reported on Sunday.

And while there is little indication yet as to where the 26-year-old could go, Sky Bet has installed Wolves as 7/2 frontrunners, with Brighton and Burnley tied as 5/1 second favourites.
All three clubs are thought to want to add to their attacks this week, with Brighton’s deal for Raphael Dwamena falling through and Burnley seemingly seeking a pacier option to partner Chris Wood.
According to The Express & Star, Wolves are set to offload Nouha Dicko to Hull City for £3.5 million in order to accommodate a new arrival.

Gayle scored 23 goals to fire Newcastle to the Championship title last season, but it remains to be seen whether the former non-league striker would fancy an immediate return to the second tier.
Gayle’s next club odds, courtesy of Sky Bet:
Wolves 7/2
Brighton/Burnley 5/1
Stoke 12/1
Huddersfield/Crystal Palace/Leeds 14/1
