Wolves manager Zenga has said that patience is key as he attempts to mastermind a promotion push for the club.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have got off to an inconsistent start so far this season, but manager Walter Zenga has claimed that patience is a virtue as he attempts to get the Midlands side’s season back on track, as reported by the Birmingham Mail.
Some fans have already begun calling for Zenga to figure out his best starting XI and fast. In light of clubs such as Derby and Aston Villa disposing of their man in charge early in the campaign, some feel that the same action should be taken for the Italian.
Wolves currently find themselves in mid-table following the international break after being unable to string together a consistent level of victories. The potential within the squad is certainly there, but piecing it together on the pitch on a weekly basis is something Zenga has yet to master.
The Italian said, via the Birmingham Mail: “My dream is still the same – full stadium and bring the team in the position they deserve to stay, which is in the Premier League.

“We achieve this in three months? Wonderful. We achieve this at the end of the year? OK. We can do it next year? OK. But we arrive. I don’t know when, I cannot promise tomorrow, but we will arrive.
“We arrive at the club, new owner, new coach, new everything. Then new players. But it’s not important to just buy a good player – the most important thing is that the players play good together. And this isn’t simple.

“It’s not one defeat that creates problems for us, or a win that says we have arrived… it’s a long season. We have to arrive in May.’’
Wolves fans should listen to what he is saying, especially considering the fact that the last five years have seen Molineux turn into a managerial merry-go-round.
Showing faith in the manager is the answer for the time being and supporters need to get behind him, starting with the derby clash against Villa this weekend.
