New Wolves boss suggests new signings imminent.
Walter Zenga
Following their takeover, Wolves appointed former Italian international Walter Zenga as the club’s manager, dispensing of the services of Kenny Jackett.
Zenga has less than a week to get prepared before the Championship season kicks off, and admits improvements must be made to the squad.
Speaking to the club’s official website, he suggested that new additions were not far off.
Zenga said: “It is also normal that we have to improve our squad, we have to be competitive. We must create a squad that can give us a dream to achieve something.
“I am sure we will be announcing more new players soon.”

Benfica’s Helder Costa on loan to Monaco
Wolves have already added Portuguese duo Silvio and Helder Costa, following the takeover of the Fosun International Group, which was approved last week.
Zenga may or may not be having the final say over additions, but is determined to get the team all working towards the same goal, and challenging for promotion.
He said he wants fans to get behind the team, adding: “I am here now, and my message to the fans is to help me and support me, and we are going to give you everything.
“Together we can do something very important. I want to create enthusiasm and passion, I want to see the stadium full – this is my dream.”
Wolves’ first game of the season is away to Rotherham United next week, before three consecutive home games in the cup and league, where they can build momentum, and fans will get to see their new signings in action.
