Wolverhampton Wanderers earned a hard-fought draw at Blackburn Rovers yesterday.
Wolves interim boss Rob Edwards reacted to his side’s draw at Blackburn yesterday, and insisted that he was happy with a point, although he did highlight parts of the game that disappointed him, as quoted by the Express & Star.
The Molineux outfit are still in a precarious position in the Championship table, just three points clear of the relegation zone, after what was such a promising start to the season, which saw them pick up eight points from their first four games.

Edwards, who has been in charge of Wolves since Walter Zenga’s dismissal, spoke to reporters in the aftermath of the game at Ewood Park, and offered his thoughts on his side’s draw, as quoted by the Express & Star:
Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Walter Zenga
“Overall I’m really pleased. What we could have done better was being tighter and more compact without the ball. We did let them cross the ball too much and let them have too many shots – although we did have more shots than them. We looked a little bit open. If we can rectify that, with some of the play we have we can be a match for anyone.”
The Black Country outfit now face a crucial period leading up to Christmas, with a succession of very winnable games, on paper at least.
Five of their next seven games are against teams in the bottom half of the Championship table, and how they perform during that run of fixtures will have a huge bearing on whether they can push for the promotion spots or if they will be embroiled in a relegation scrap.
