Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid in the January transfer window and so are Aston Villa, according to 90min.
The report has claimed that Premier League club Wolves and Villa are keen on speaking to Felix about a possible move in January.
Former La Liga champions Atletico are willing to sell Felix and want at least £100 million in transfer fee for a player they paid £113 million for.
However, the Madrid outfit are also open to the idea of sending the Portugal international attacker out on loan if they do not get the right fee for a permanent deal now.
Could Wolverhampton Wanderers or Aston Villa sign Joao Felix?
In our opinion, it is unlikely that Wolverhampton Wanderers or Aston Villa will be able to sign Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid in the January transfer window, even on a loan deal.

Both Wolves and Villa are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season, and we do not think that a move to the Wanderers or to the Villans would be appealing to the 23-year-old who played for Portugal at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
With Arsenal, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly also keen on Felix – who can operate as a forward, winger or attacking midfielder and was described as “very dangerous” by then Villarreal head coach Unai Emery (now at Villa) in TribalFootball in August 2022 – we do not anticipate the youngster to move to Wolves or to the Villans.
