Wolverhampton Wanderers have made a decent start to their Premier League campaign.
Wolves ace Kortney Hause spoke exclusively to the Express & Star about his side’s start to the 2018/19 campaign, and highlighted the need for him and his teammates to have more belief in their own ability.
The Black Country outfit were quite simply sensational in the Championship last season, and they have made a decent start to life in the Premier League, taking five points from their opening four top flight outings.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s men have proven that they are more than capable of mixing it with the Premier League’s big boys – something that was evident during their 1-1 draw with Manchester City last month.
Hause explained how Wolves need to believe in themselves more, however, if they are to truly announce their arrival in the top flight, when speaking exclusively to the Express & Star:
“It’s been an okay start. With the potential we’ve got in the squad I think the boys need to believe in themselves a bit more and believe that we’re good enough to play in this division. We’ve played four league games against some really good teams and haven’t looked out of place. In my personal opinion we’ve looked better. It’s just a belief thing. The manager’s drilling that into us and the boys need to believe themselves on the pitch. Once we do that and find our feet we’ll be fine.”
Next up for Wolves is a home clash with Burnley on Sunday, and Sean Dyche’s side will represent another tough test for Nuno’s men.
