Newcastle United should consider a summer swoop for the Wolverhampton Wanderers ace.

According to a report from the Express & Star, Wolves could be open to selling Ivan Cavaleiro this summer, and Newcastle should consider a move for the Portuguese winger.
Rafa Benitez is keen on bringing a winger to St James’ Park this summer, according to a report from the Chronicle, and the Wolves ace could be just the man for the job.
The 25-year-old joined Wolves from Monaco in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £7 million, and has gone on to rack up 19 goals and 20 assists in 106 appearances in all competitions.
Cavaleiro is incredibly quick, and he plays with a certain kind of directness that would undoubtedly help add more potency to the Magpies’ play in the final third.
The two-capped Portugal international would provide strong competition in the wide attacking department at Newcastle, and he might just flourish if given the opportunity to shine by Benitez.

According to a report from the Birmingham Mail, Wolves could be willing to sell Cavaleiro for around £12 million, and in today’s day and age, that would represent decent value for money for the Toon.
Whether Benitez feels like he needs the Wolves man at Newcastle, however, remains to be seen.
