Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Benik Afobe has been in fine form recently.

Wolves ace Benik Afobe raved about the quality of his teammate Ruben Neves, when speaking to the club’s official website, and opened up on how a conversation that he shared with the Portuguese has helped him find his goalscoring form.
The 25-year-old joined the Black Country outfit from Bournemouth on loan in January, and despite initially struggling to find his feet at Molineux, he has proven to be a useful addition to Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, scoring four goals in his last four outings.
Afobe’s fine recent run of form has proven to be a great boost for Wolves, as they look to wrap up promotion back to the Premier League.

The Black Country outfit currently sit comfortably at the top of the Championship table, six points clear of second placed Cardiff City, and perhaps more importantly, 13 ahead of third placed Fulham.
Afobe will surely have a key role to play during Wolves’ run-in, and the in-form striker shared something that Ruben Neves told him that has helped him recently, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“I spoke to Ruben about trying to find space. He knows I like to get in behind so he said that his passes might not be over the top, they might be slide-balls along the floor. That’s what you do as a team, you look for each other and you talk and discuss the game. Ruben’s a top-quality player.”
Next up for Nuno’s side is a trip to the Riverside to take on Middlesbrough on Friday, before they play host to Hull City four days later, and a return of six points from those matches would go a long way towards sealing promotion back to the top flight.
