Wolverhampton Wanderers want Bournemouth striker Benik Afobe to return to Molineux.

Wolverhampton Wanderers fans are desperate to see Nuno bid for Bournemouth’s Benik Afobe.

Wolves are said to have a considerable amount of funds to spend on a striker, by the Express and Star.

Nuno reportedly feels that adding a striker could be vital for Wolves’ promotion chances.

And Wolves fans believe that Afobe is the best possible option for the club to bring in.

Wolves have made hugely impressive start to their Championship campaign, winning all three of their matches to date.

Wolves are now the bookies’ favourites to earn promotion, with their new signings settling in well.

If Afobe was to join he would add to Nuno’s attacking talent, and the rapid forward needs no introduction to the Mollineux crowd.

Afobe represented Wolves between 2014 and 2015, and netted 23 goals in 48 appearances for the Midlands side before moving to Bournemouth.

The 24-year-old has not scored so frequently for the Cherries, but Wolves fans clearly believe that he could still be a major weapon at Championship level.
