Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Rafa Mir scored twice for Spain’s under-21’s side.

Wolverhampton Wanderers’ forgotten man Rafa Mir has enjoyed another outstanding international break, after scoring twice for Spain’s under-21 side against Iceland.
Mir was handed his first start for Spain’s under-21’s last night, and he scored twice in a 7-2 win for his nation.
It was a reminder of the quality that the Wolves man does posses, and continued his excellent record for Spain’s youth squads.
Mir now has five goals in four appearances at under-21 level for Spain, and that should give him a much needed confidence boost.

Mir has struggled since arriving at Wolves last January, and he has been sent out on loan this term.
The youngster is due to spend the campaign with Las Palmas, and he has made seven appearances for them so far.
Wolves are yet to give up hope with Mir, but the 21-year-old does face a tough task of convincing Nuno that he is ready to play Premier League football back at Molineux.
