Wolves are currently miles clear in the Championship, and barring disaster, Nuno’s side will be playing in the top flight next season.
They look set to take West Brom’s place in the Premier League, as the Baggies are struggling badly.
Alan Pardew’s men have been cut adrift, and currently have a seven point gap to make up to safety.
While Albion’s relegation is not yet mathematically confirmed, only a great escape will see them survive.
And Wolves should be looking to take advantage of their local rival’s struggles, and be plotting a move for Burke in the summer.
Burke may not have been a great success at West Brom, but at 20-years-old, he remains an exciting talent.
He could also fit in well with Wolves’ squad, which has a number of talented youngsters involved.
And Wolves should have a keen eye on West Brom’s relegation battle, as Burke should be one of the first names in their wishlist, if Pardew’s side do fail to survive.
