Wolverhampton Wanderers are said to have money to spend on a striker, and Newcastle United’s Aleksandar Mitrovic could be ideal.
Nuno believes that finding a striker could be the final piece of Wolves’ promotion puzzle, after their bright start to the new campaign.
Wolves have won their opening three Championship matches, to raise optimism levels around Molineux.
And Wolves’ board are now said to be willing to part with big money to secure a new forward.

Wolves should now build on the momentum they have, and consider making a move for Newcastle United’s Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Newcastle have kept hold of Mitrovic over the summer so far, but there is a feeling that the Serbian could leave St. James’ Park.
With Joselu recently signing for the Magpies, it is not clear where Mitrovic sits in the pecking order at Rafeal Benitez’s side.
And Wolves should capitalise on the uncertainty by making a bid for Mitrovic.
Although the target-man did not enjoy the most productive campaign at Championship level last season, he still has a fairly solid scoring record since moving to Newcastle.
Mitrovic has netted nine times in 34 Premier League appearances since joining Newcastle, and he offers so much more than just goals.
The 22-year-old is blessed with great power and aerial ability, and while his temperament can be a concern, his arrival at Wolves would really announce Nuno’s side’s ambition for the campaign ahead.
