If Newcastle United manage to sign Nicolai Jorgensen it could give Wolverhampton Wanderers a chance to bring in Dwight Gayle.

Wolverhampton Wanderers should be watching Newcastle United’s move for Nicolai Jorgensen with keen interest.
Newcastle are said to be lining up a club record breaking bid for the Feyenoord forward in the near future, and that could make signing Dwight Gayle easier for Wolves.
If Newcastle do snap up Jorgensen it will knock Gayle further down the pecking order, which could just make Rafael Benitez decide to sell up.

Gayle has only scored three goals for Newcastle this campaign, and rarely looked up to Premier League quality.
Wolves are keen to add the 26-year-old to their squad though, according to the Birmingham Mail, and his record at Championship level is highly impressive.
If Gayle was to join Wolves he would almost guarantee them goals, and that could be enough to guide them to the Premier League.

Wolves are flying in the Championship, but if there is one thing they do lack it is a clinical finisher.
And if Newcastle do manage to snap up Jorgensen then Nuno’s side may be making a smart move by trying for Gayle again.
