Wolverhampton Wanderers finished in the top-seven during the recently concluded Premier League campaign.

Wolves supporters on Twitter have provided mixed views to reports linking them with Huddersfield Town midfielder Aaron Mooy.
World Game have reported that the Midlands outfit, along with West Ham United, Newcastle United, Leicester City, Watford and Southampton are keen on Mooy’s services.
Huddersfield were relegated during the recently concluded season and it’s not a surprise that teams from England’s top-flight want to snap up their top talent.
Australia international Mooy, who has scored five goals for his country [transfermarkt], is a versatile midfielder, but he is better suited to sitting deep in midfield.
If he were to move to Wolves then he would be joining a team that recently finished in a European place, but they still have to qualify for the group stages when they return for pre-season in the summer.
Summer signing Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves stood out for Nuno Espirito Santo’s this season, but considering they are playing in Europe next term, they’ll need more legs across the squad.

There is no doubt that Mooy has the capabilities to play in the Premier League, and in a Nuno system, but whether he is good enough to play at the level they are at currently remains to be seen.
Next season, the task will be even tougher for Nuno and his players because they’ll be playing in Europe and they’ll be a team that will now be targetted.
Here is a selection of Wolves fans on Twitter reacting to Mooy rumours:
