Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Nuno was keen to bring in Divock Origi from Anfield during the January transfer window.

It could be now or never for Wolverhampton Wanderers with Divock Origi, as Liverpool are set to offer the striker a new contract.

Wolves came in for Origi during the January transfer window, with Nuno keen to sign the forward for £20 million, as reported by the Daily Mirror.

At that time Wolves were unable to agree a deal with Liverpool, and their chances of doing a deal may be slipping away now.

The Daily Mirror have suggested that Liverpool will offer Origi new terms, after his starring role in their Champions League triumph over Barcelona.

Origi scored twice for Liverpool in their 4-0 win against Barca at Anfield in midweek, which proved what he could do with regular action.

If Wolves boss Nuno was watching the contest he would surely have been impressed with his former target’s display.

And if Wolves do still want Origi they are surely at a make or break stage with the deal now.
