Wolverhampton Wanderers host Reading on Tuesday.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are being mocked by Reading fans ahead of Tuesday night’s meeting between the two teams – that is despite the league leaders being 18 places and 40 points better off than the Royals.
Wolves’ 76-point haul is however still 30 shy of Reading’s record tally set during the 2005/06 season, and not even a flawless final 10 games – i.e. 10 more wins – will be enough to dethrone the team from Berkshire after Saturday’s 4-1 defeat against Aston Villa.

Fittingly, Reading are the first side who can ensure their own record cannot even be equalled when they travel to Molineux tomorrow.
Here’s what Royals fans are saying on Twitter ahead of the game…
Despite having held a 12-point lead over second place at one stage, Wolves’ gap was cut to three after their latest defeat.
Nuno’s side have been somewhat off-colour since the turn of the year, winning only five of their 11 leagues games – a spell which has seen them record 50 per cent of their overall number of defeats (six).
