Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee Kortney Hause has stated that he has ‘completed’ his mission in helping Aston Villa make a return to the Premier League.

The 23-year-old moved to Villa Park from Wolves during the January transfer window on an initial loan deal. After needing at least six weeks to build up his fitness, the versatile player became a key player for Dean Smith.

Hause was utilised in two roles by his manager, at first at left-back where he added oomph and power in that fullback area before playing at centre-back when Villa had to deal with a number of injuries to their backline.

He didn’t start the play-off final win against Derby, but he did come off the bench towards the end of the game when Tyrone Mings injured himself following a last-ditch challenge.

Here is Hause’s message to the Villa supporters as posted on his personal Twitter account:

Villa have a number of loan players at the club and they will be keen to keep hold of a number of them next season as they prepare for the Premier League.

There’s no doubt that Hause, Tyrone Mings and Anwar El Ghazi will be just some of those players the supporters will want to see at Villa Park next term.

Here is a selection of Villa fans on Twitter reacting to Hause’s message:

Smith will now be preparing for Premier League football next season as the Midlands outfit have a busy summer ahead of them

A number of big decisions will need to be made in terms of what players are brought into the club, who stays and who leaves this summer.
