Middlesbrough have signed Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Danny Batth on loan for the season.

Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters have encouraged Danny Batth, after one of his first tweets since his move to Middlesbrough.
Batth left Wolves to join Boro on loan for the season towards the back end of the transfer window.
And the central defender has enjoyed his start to life with Tony Pulis’ side, with Batth writing on Twitter that he was looking forward to the new challenge.
Wolves fans have backed Batth to succeed at the Riverside Stadium, and wished him well for the campaign.
Batth remains popular at Wolves, after years of service to the club.
Batth played a rotational role for Wolves last season, as he helped Nuno’s side earn promotion to the Championship.
With Wolves strengthening further at the back this summer, Nuno deemed that the powerful defender was surplus to requirements.
Batth could now be fighting for promotion again in the Championship this term, as Middlesbrough have started their campaign well.
