Wolverhampton Wanderers will be looking to kick on again this summer, but they will have to keep some key players.

Adama Traore and Raul Jimenez have been linked away from the club, though both will command huge transfer fees.

Another player attracting interest is full back Matt Doherty, with Tottenham Hotspur now keen according to Football.London.

They claim that Jose Mourinho as identified Doherty as a solution to Tottenham’s right back issues, and would cost just £12million.

The 28-year-old has been a key part of Wolves’ success in the Premier League, serving as Nuno’s first-choice right back.

Doherty has racked up eight goals and 11 assists in the Premier League for Wolves, establishing himself as one of the best attacking right backs in England.

The Irishman is now wanted by Spurs, and Wolverhampton Wanderers fans don’t seem convinced that a deal will ever materialise.

Some think that there is absolutely no chance of him being sold for just £12million, branding the fee ‘laughable’.

Others wished Tottenham good luck as they have little prospect of signing Doherty, adding that a deal will never happen because Doherty supports Arsenal and Wolves boss Nuno loves him.
