Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Romain Saiss against Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.

Saiss featured for Wolves in their Premier League game against Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge in London.

The 28-year-old featured in defence and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

The midfielder has been doing well at the back in recent times, and the Morocco international’s performance against Chelsea was very good.

The former Angers man held his own against Chelsea star Eden Hazard, defended strongly and looked very confident.

According to WhoScored, against the Blues, Saiss had a pass accuracy of 61.9%, won two headers, and made four tackles, three interceptions and seven clearances.

So far this season, Saiss has made 10 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for Wolves, scoring two goals in the process, according to WhoScored.

Wolves fans were impressed with the performance of Saiss against Chelsea and have praised the 28-year-old, who joined the Wanderers from Angers in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £3 million.
