Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with Bayern Munich-owned Swansea City midfielder Renato Sanches in the summer transfer window.

Renato Sanches of Swansea City arrives at the stadium prior to the Premier League match between Swansea City and Chelsea at Liberty Stadium on April 28, 2018 in Swansea, Wales.

Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Bayern Munich-owned Swansea City midfielder Renato Sanches.

According to Diario de Noticias, Wolves, who will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship this campaign, are interested in signing Sanches in the summer transfer window.

The 20-year-old midfielder joined German giants Bayern from Portuguese powerhouse Benfica in the summer of 2016 for an initial transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £27.5 million.

Much was expected of the Portugal international when he arrived at the Allianz Arena, but the youngster failed to make a huge impact in the Bundesliga and joined Swansea on a season-long loan in the summer of 2017.

Sanches, who earns £26,000 per week as salary according to Spotrac.com, made just nine starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Swans this season.
