Wolves were beaten 2-1 by Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup yesterday.

Wolverhampton Wanderers fans think that John Ruddy is set to leave them at the end of the season, after watching his display last night.
Wolves were beaten 2-1 by Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup yesterday, and Ruddy didn’t cover himself in glory for either goal which Nuno’s side conceded.
Wolves’ goalkeeper definitely should have done better with Anwar El-Ghazi’s opener for Villa, and then the second strike from Ahmed Elmohamady went through him.
Ruddy’s performance may stem from a lack of match sharpness, as he has to play second fiddle to Rui Patricio at Molineux.
But Wolves fans have not offered their back-up stopper much sympathy.
If Ruddy does leave Wolves it seems likely that they will be in the market for a new covering option in net.
Wolves do have the option of bringing back Will Norris, who is currently on loan at Ipswich Town, but he has not played regularly at League One level this season.
Wolves are next in action at the weekend when they take on Arsenal, and it seems likely that Patricio will come back into Nuno’s side for that fixture.
