The Wolves academy goalkeeper has signed his first professional deal with the Premier League club and some Molineux supporters responded on Twitter.
Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced that academy goalkeeper Jackson Smith has signed his first professional contract at Molineux.
The 17-year-old has progressed through the Wolves youth system after coming on board at eight years old, signing his first registration in 2010.
This season, Smith has featured numerous times for the Wolves Under-18s, managed by Darren Ryan, and has featured against the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United.
The teenage, who has agreed terms until 2021, is also the first Wolves academy recipient of the Outstanding Achievement Award for attainment on and off the pitch in 2017.
Wolves confirmed the news with a story on their official website and a follow-up post on their Twitter page, which has been shared by Smith with an additional caption:

Wolves also confirmed that Smith will join the rest of the Under-18 squad on Friday as they travel to Japan to compete in the J-League Under-17 tournament.
