Leeds United are said to be set to sign Cameron Borthwick-Jackson from Manchester United, but Wolverhampton Wanderers fans aren’t impressed.
Wolverhampton Wanderers fans are largely of the opinion that Cameron Borthwick-Jackson will flop at Leeds United.
There has been some scepticism over the deal from Leeds fans, and Wolves supporters appears to think that Whites supporters’ doubts are justified.
Borthwick-Jackson’s loan spell at Wolves did not go according to plan last term, and he was eventually recalled after failing to make an impact at Molineux. .
Quite where the youngster fits in at Leeds remains to be seen, as it is not clear whether he has been brought in as back-up or as a starter.
Leeds were expected to line-up with Luke Ayling at right-back and Gaetano Berardi at left-back against Bolton Wanderers, but that is now is some doubt.
Berardi is more naturally a right-back, but he performed well on the left hand side last season, meaning Borthwick-Jackson will certainly face a fight to earn a place in Thomas Christiansen’s team.
