Wolverhampton Wanderers captain Conor Coady missed out on an England call-up, but Gareth Southgate did stick with Everton’s Michael Keane.

Wolves fans on Twitter are fuming that Everton’s Michael Keane and Burnley’s James Tarkowski have been called up to the England squad ahead of Conor Coady.
As reported by BBC Sport, on Wednesday, Gareth Southgate named his Three Lions squad for the up and coming Euro 2020 qualifiers against the Cech Republic and Montenegro.
Midfielder Declan Rice, who switched allegiances from the Republic of Ireland, was the main topic of discussion, but for his centre-back options, Southgate picked Harry Maguire, John Stones, Tarkowski and Keane.

Many Wolves fans on social media erupted at the latter two being selected ahead of Coady because they feel their captain has had a better season than the Premier League duo and is a better player.
Supporters did point towards Coady, who plays in a back three for Nuno, may not suit Southgate’s flat back four, however, they found it ‘ridiculous’ that Tarkowski & Keane are ahead of him.
Here is a selection of Wolves fans on Twitter reacting to Keane and Tarkowski earning England call-ups:
Truthfully, it’s not an England squad if fans are not focusing more on who hasn’t been selected to play for their country rather than who has.
Either way, Coady has been immense for Wolves since their promotion from the Championship and he could play a massive part in them finishing in the Premier League’s top six.
