Wolverhampton Wanderers were commiserated after signing the former Norwich City defender.

The centre-back signed for Wolves shortly after his release by Norwich, alongside Wanderers goalkeeper John Ruddy.
And after Bennett’s return to the side for Tuesday’s 3-0 win against Reading, Wolves fans believe it was one of the best decisions they’ve made.

The 28-year-old sat out Wanderers’ last two fixtures in favour of Danny Batth, but replaced the Compton Park product after Saturday’s 4-1 humbling by Aston Villa and turned in a near flawless display.
Here’s what Wolves supporters are saying about Bennett’s performance…
Bennett, who is also said to have been courted by Sheffield United after leaving Norwich, appears destined for promotion with Wolves, whose lead over third-placed Villa was extended to 10 points on Tuesday.
As for his old side, they are 20 points further behind in 14th position.
