Could Nice striker Mario Balotelli join Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer transfer window?

Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been discussing on social networking site Twitter the prospect of signing former Liverpool and Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli on a free transfer when his current contract with Nice runs out at the end of the season.
According to Ladbrokes, Championship club Wolves are the second favourites to sign Balotelli in the summer transfer window with odds of 7/2.
The former Liverpool striker has been playing well this season and has scored 14 goals in 19 Ligue 1 starts for Nice.
During the 2016-17 campaign, the Italy international scored 15 goals in 20 league starts for Nice.

The 27-year-old knows the Premier League inside out, having featured in England first with Manchester City and then with Liverpool.
While the former Inter Milan star did well during his spell at City – he won the Premier League and the FA Cup with the Citizens – he was a flop at Liverpool and spent the second season of his tenure away from Anfield on loan at AC Milan.
Fans of Wolves, who look set to win automatic promotion to the Premier League at the end of the season, are divided over the prospect of signing Balotelli in the summer transfer window, as shown in the following posts on Twitter.
