Wolverhampton Wanderers right wing-back Dominic Iorfa has struggled for appearances so far this season.

According to the Birmingham Mail, Dominic Iorfa is just waiting to leave Wolverhampton Wanderers, but all of a sudden he may have a chance to save his career.

The Express and Star have reported how Wolves are short of options at full-back now.

Jonny has picked up a medial ligament injury on international duty, and Matt Doherty is also set to be sidelined.

Ruben Vinagre now looks set to step in on the left, but Doherty’s absence leaves Nuno’s options down the right looking very short.

Adama Traore could play there, but he is far more comfortable in an attacking role.

Ryan Bennett, meanwhile, has also played at right wing-back before, but he isn’t the most agile and his lack of pace could be exposed at the top level.

Iorfa, therefore, may well be Wolves’ most natural option in the right-back role.

If Iorfa does come into contention at Molineux then it would be quite the turnaround for the 23-year-old.

Iorfa has not featured at all this season, but Nuno simply will have to give some consideration to calling him into his first-team now.
