Wolverhampton Wanderers appear to be prepared to back Nuno with funds on their return to the Premier League.

According to the Daily Mirror, Wolverhampton Wanderers are looking to sign Yaya Toure – and his arrival could give Nuno one of the best midfields in the Premier League.

Wolves have, rather remarkably, already been linked with Toure and Jack Wilshere in the first weeks since promotion, in the Telegraph.

And if Nuno’s side bring in both Toure and Wilshere this summer, then their central midfield will look stacked.

A midfield three of Neves, Toure and Wilshere would not look out of place in a top six side, let along a newly promoted one.

And although bringing both Toure and Wilshere in, on their current wages, could be a challenge for Wolves – it seems that Nuno will be backed with funds to make the Midlands side a force to be reckoned with at the top level.
