Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Paul Gladon has made just three appearances all season.
Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Paul Lambert has told the Express and Star that Paul Gladon is not part of his first-team plans.
Gladon joined Wolves last summer, but he has barely featured all season.
The striker has made just three appearances for Wolves, and has not been played at all since Lambert took charge.
And the Scottish boss has suggested that there is no way back for Gladon this season.
“He’s just not part of it. I’ve got so many players here,” Lambert said.
“Paul has maybe found it hard himself. I think it’s maybe thrown him as well, how hard it is.
“I’ve just got to go with ones I think can do it, week in week out.
“Maybe he’ll come to me and say it’s not worked, which is fine, no issues. It’s an area where we’ll try and strengthen.
“You can’t train 30-odd guys, the squad’s too big, you have to cut it and unfortunately guys have to miss out at times.”
Gladon is likely to be one of a number of players who leave Wolves this summer.
Wolves have had a disappointing campaign, with last summer’s recruitment not proving to be very successful.
Lambert’s side now have a bloated squad, which will need to be trimmed in the coming months.
Wolves are currently in 15th pace in the Championship table, with their next match coming against Preston North End at the weekend.
