According to the Chronicle, Wolverhampton Wanderers want to sign Newcastle United striker Aleksandar Mitrovic in the summer, and that would suggest that he has changed Nuno’s mind.
Wolves had the chance to sign Mitrovic in January, but the Chronicle reported how Nuno turned down the opportunity.
Nuno instead went for Benik Afobe, which allowed Mitrovic to move to Fulham.
The Serbian international’s form while on loan at Craven Cottage could hardly have been more impressive, as he has hit the back of the net with great frequency.
And it seems that the Newcastle striker has turned Nuno’s head with his form.
Wolves are now considering bringing the forward to Molineux in next season, as they plan to make an impact in the Premier League.
Wolves are on the hunt for a new front man, and Mitrovic could fill that void for them now.
The Newcastle man has scored 11 goals in 15 appearances in the Championship this term, and now seems to have convinced Nuno that he would be a smart addition.
