NBA 2K’s new Caitlin Clark announcement doesn’t sit well with basketball fans.
Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark has once again proven that she’s the face of the WNBA with a recent collaboration with video-gaming giant NBA 2K.
How? Well, Clark has become the cover athlete for NBA 2K27 Deluxe Edition, as the game is now available for pre-orders.

WNBA fans furious at Caitlin Clark’s botched look
Clark joins Victor Wembanyama (Standard Edition) and Derrick Rose (Ultimate Edition) as the cover athletes of the upcoming video game.
While the Wemby and Rose cover pictures have been widely appreciated, the same cannot be said for Clark’s.
“There’s still time to change this and use an actual picture of Caitlin Clark,” a fan said. While another added, “Billion-dollar company using AI to make their cover.”
“Love that she’s on the cover, but that doesn’t look like her,” a third fan stated. “Cmon 2K I could’ve done better than that,” a fourth fan claimed.
“You guys can’t even pay her for a nice picture. The whole world knows this is AI,” a disappointed fan wrote.
NBA 2K cover athletes are usually from the NBA, but seeing Clark there has made the WNBA fans happy. Unfortunately, NBA 2K botched the image of the Fever star as it’s obviously an AI image.
