Sam Allardyce’s Everton side are said to have scouts tracking Real Betis midfielder Fabian Ruiz.

According to a report in Estadio Deportivo, Everton have been scouting Fabian Ruiz of Real Betis.
Ruiz is currently available for just £14 million, due to a release clause in his contract.
Betis are quickly trying to offer the 21-year-old new terms, to ensure he does not leave so cheaply, but interest is starting to mount.

Everton are now considering making a move for Ruiz, and now could be the perfect time as West Ham United are distracted in the race for the youngster’s signature.

West Ham are set to bring in Joao Mario on loan from Inter Milan, and they have made Anderlecht midfielder Leander Dendoncker their top target in midfield, rather than Ruiz.
That could give Everton a chance to sign the midfielder without having to battle West Ham for his signature, and that means now could be the perfect time to strike for the Toffees.
