Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have been reacting after EuroSport reported that their club had put forward a strong proposal for Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.
Spurs have been linked with Rudiger for a little while now, and it seems as though they’re very serious about signing the defender.
Indeed, Eurosport say that Tottenham have put forward a strong proposal, and with Antonio Conte at the helm, there’s every chance that Rudiger opts to reunite with his former boss.
The German is out of contract in the summer, and Tottenham are looking to swoop in and sign him on a free transfer once his current deal with Chelsea expires.
Spurs will face competition from the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, but with Rudiger already settled in London, they may have a slight advantage in this race.
