The Dutch striker is not scoring goals in the Premier League.
Tottenham’s Vincent Janssen in action
Vincent Janssen looks to have again proven that being a regular goal scorer in the Dutch top-flight, may not translate into goals in English football.
He netted 27 goals in Eredivisie last term, but just like the likes of Afonso Alves or Mateja Kezman in the past, has failed to score in England.
Others of course have done well, such as Luis Suarez or Ruud van Nistelrooy – but Janssen looks like following in the footsteps of the top-scorer in Holland the previous season, Memphis Depay.

The talented Dutchman failed to have an impact with Manchester United and was sold to French side Lyon in January. Since then he has been in fine form, scoring five goals in 10 games.
So perhaps Lyon would be tempted in taking Janssen of Tottenham’s hands in the summer – if Spurs wanted their star striker.
Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette
Alexandre Lacazette has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs for some time. With good reason, he is a goal-machine. He has 28 in 34 this term and Spurs would love him at White Hart Lane.
This summer Lyon will undoubtedly field interest in the player yet again. Tottenham would be making a smart move if they offered a cash-plus Janssen deal for the player in the summer.
If Lyon believe Janssen could become another Depay, they might be open to such a deal.
