Tottenham Hotspur could do with another option up front.

Tottenham Hotspur have impressed with their summer transfer business to date, signing Victor Wanyama and Vincent Janssen and seemingly on the verge of completing a deal for Georges-Kevin N’Koudou.
That would give Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino considerably more quality in central midfield, on the wing and up front, but if he wants to better last season’s efforts it would be wise to bring in another goal-scorer.

Janssen has the ability to be a hit at White Hart Lane yet it would be foolish to expect too much too soon, while Harry Kane’s performances at Euro 2016 showed the problem of relying on a young forward week in, week out with little chance of rest; by the summer he looked in desperate need of a breather.
As a result it is up to Pochettino and chairman Daniel Levy to do all they can to add another forward to Tottenham’s ranks before the transfer window slams shut.

There are options in the academy, most notably Shayon Harrison, but if Tottenham want to compete in four competitions next season and bring some silverware back to White Hart Lane this is the summer to invest smartly.
A young, talented striker would be the final piece of the jigsaw, but getting the right one will be easier said than done.
