Jose Enrique has admitted that he would love Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus at Liverpool.
The Gunners, who welcome Jurgen Klopp’s side to the Emirates on Sunday, dropped some £45 million on signing the Brazilian striker from Manchester City this past summer.
And it’s safe to say that the 25-year-old has been a revelation since arriving at Arsenal, netting five Premier League goals.
Not only that, but the former Citizen has had an exceptional all-round impact in North London and supporters of the Emirates Stadium outfit have fallen in love with their new hitman.

There’s no doubt that Liverpool boss Klopp will be formulating a plan to contain him this weekend.
And Enrique has conceded that he would love the player at Anfield.
He said on Twitter:
Gabriel Jesus v Darwin Nunez
Of course, Liverpool also spent big money on signing Darwin Nunez from Benfica this past summer, dropping £85 million – a club record – to be specific.
But there’s no doubt that Jesus – praised by Gabriel Martinelli this week – is looking like a much better addition than his Uruguayan counterpart, it has to be said.
Then again, Jesus joined from Manchester City. Liverpool brought in the 23-year-old from Portuguese football.
In other words, the Arsenal attacker had a major advantage of already being accustomed to Premier League football, whereas Nunez has only managed a handful of games in England’s top flight and will undoubtedly improve over time.
It’ll be Gabriel Jesus v Darwin Nunez this weekend but it’s worth remembering that one has a lot more experience in this competition than the other.
