West Ham United are expected to complete further business in the transfer market this month.

When speaking to reporters, Hammers centre-back Winston Reid declared his delight at his side’s upturn in fortunes, and responded to a question asking him whether he thinks West Ham will make any more signings this month, following the acquisition of Jose Fonte on Friday, as quoted by the club’s official website.

Things are finally starting to look up for the East Londoners, after back-to-back victories took them to 10th position in the Premier League table, just eight points adrift of seventh placed Everton.

And that final Europa League spot now seems like a realistic target, which in itself highlights the drastic turnaround in events at West Ham over the past couple of weeks.

And Reid 28, discussed the possibility of his club bringing in further new signings this month, when speaking to reporters, and quoted by WHUFC.com:

“We’ve had a bit of injuries so to get a good new signing in with Fonte will add to the group. I’m sure the club will still want to do more business, but in these last two games we’ve played better than we’d played previously.”

The Hammers finally seem to be like a club heading in the right direction, and if Slaven Bilic manages to bring one or two top quality players into the club over the course of the next week or so, then they have every chance of fishing inside the top seven in the Premier League table.
