Rangers suffered a 3-2 loss to rivals Celtic last Sunday.
Josh Windass has attempted to patch up Rangers fans’ wounds on Instagram after their defeat to Old Firm rivals Celtic last Sunday, with the Scottish Premiership title race all but over.
The 24-year-old attacker scored inside three minutes for the Gers at Ibrox, which gave fans hope that the Ibrox club could indeed beat Brendan Rodgers’ side and reduce the gap to three points at the top of the table.
However, Graeme Murty’s side eventually lost 3-2 with a Daniel Candeias strike failing to prove enough, as Celtic scored through Tom Rogic, Moussa Dembele and Odsonne Edouard.
Windass posted on Instagram on Thursday in an attempt to heal wounds as Celtic look to secure a second successive Scottish Premiership title under Brendan Rodgers, stating there is “still plenty to play for.”
Rangers now sit a huge nine points behind their arch enemies in second place, with Celtic also boasting a game in hand after their game against Dundee earlier this month was postponed due to the weather.
Windass is expected to start once again on Saturday as the Gers face Steve Clarke’s in-form Kilmarnock on Saturday afternoon at Ibrox, as he looks to add to his 17 goals in all competitions.
