Rangers loaned Harry Forrester to AFC Wimbledon in the summer after Pedro Caixinha demoted the winger to the reserves.

Harry Forrester certainly had a point to prove when he joined AFC Wimbledon on a season-long loan from Rangers in the summer. The winger had barely featured after Pedro Caixinha replaced Mark Warburton at Ibrox in March and left the Scottish giants under a cloud amid accusations, that he has since denied, of a poor attitude in training, per the Scottish Sun.
The Scottish Sun add that Forrester was even demoted to the reserves before returning to England.

“The Rangers manager made it clear I was not part of his plans,” the former Doncaster and Brentford favourite said. “I then had to train away from the group.
“I know I’m not a bad lad, I’m definitely not a bad lad. But when you are in Glasgow things are magnified.”
Forrester has a lot to do before he can make Caixinha regret his decision, however. Wimbledon boss Neil Ardley warned the 26-year-old that he had to improve his fitness if he wanted to fit into his ‘quick, aggressive and dynamic’ style, per The Evening Times.

But, so far, each of his five League One appearances have come from the substitutes bench, the most recent a half-hour outing in Friday’s home defeat to bitter rivals MK Dons.
Forrester has starred at this level before and there should be few doubts that he can make a real difference at Wimbledon once he gets up to speed. However, a slow start to life back in England will elicit few regrets at Ibrox.
