The Arsenal midfielder has been linked with a move to West Ham.

Attention is beginning to turn towards the January transfer window and West Ham United manager David Moyes had admitted that he would like to sign Jack Wilshere if the Arsenal midfielder is available.
Wilshere, who could feature when Arsenal face West Ham at London Stadium tonight, has just over six months remaining on his current contract with the Gunners.
As reported by The Guardian, Moyes said: “You’d hope that if you took a player from another Premier League club it’d be much easier for him to go right into the team and play well.
“Jack Wilshere would be someone who we’d have to look at if he was available.”

Wilshere would certainly represent an excellent signing for West Ham. Having supported the club as a youngster the midfielder is fully aware of West Ham’s history and the passionate nature of their supporters.
Given that he can link play to great effect, Wilshere would provide West Ham with extra dynamism in midfield and the 25-year-old would certainly relish the opportunity to play regularly having found it difficult to get back into the starting lineup at Arsenal.

However, Arsenal shouldn’t consider selling Wilshere as he is still a player that has much to offer. Perfectly suited to Arsenal’s style of play, Wilshere deserves the opportunity to reclaim his place in the Gunners’ starting lineup, even if it is at the expense of Aaron Ramsey.
Although he does have some faults, such as his tendency to hold onto the ball for too long at times, Wilshere is capable of being a major asset for Arsenal in terms of his creativity and fine dribbling and shouldn’t be allowed to depart.
West Ham would certainly be grateful recipients if the England man does leave the Gunners.
