Loan club Bournemouth and parent side Arsenal have been rocked by the news Jack Wilshere has suffered a broken leg.
The Sun report that the injury suffered against Spurs threatens to rule Wilshere out for the start of the 2017/18 season – and this has potential impact on plans for both Scottish giants Rangers and Celtic.
Those circle around Emerson Hyndman, who has impressed on loan at Rangers since signing in January.
It is no secret Rangers wish to sign the midfielder permanently given the impact he has made, while the Daily Record report that rivals Celtic have also made contact with Bournemouth about signing Hyndman in the summer.

Hyndman only signed for Bournemouth last summer after leaving Fulham, and convincing the Cherries to sell him outright was always going to be tough so soon.
Jack Wilshere was a player Bournemouth did not factor into the equation when they signed Hyndman, with the opportunity to sign the Arsenal star cropping up at the transfer deadline.
Bournemouth are now unlikely to want to take a chance on signing the injured midfielder in the summer, heightening their need to take another look at Hyndman.
