West Ham United are said to be interested in signing Willy Caballero this summer.

The Sun claim that West Ham will attempt to sign Caballero from Chelsea this summer.
And Caballero’s past quotes about the Chilean boss should encourage West Ham that a reunion with his former boss would appeal.
“I can talk about what he’s offered me,” he told goal.com. “It seems that it’s key how he treats the player and how he speaks to them. What he demands of them and how he tries to convince the player so they can interpret his style of play.

“With that it’s possible to play at your best. I also believe that his way of playing is very good and at the same time very simple. The players that he coaches like the way they are supposed to play, they feel confident with that idea.
“During the week, in training, that’s where it seems to me that he has convinced everybody he’s worked with; he has a way of working that keeps everybody active and happy. And when you go through a change of manager you can realise the difference. When you don’t have the opportunity to play a lot of minutes, you feel those differences. The truth is that with Manuel that doesn’t happen.
“It also seems to me that he has all the players ready to play at any moment and that they are going to be able to show that they have what it takes, it means that they are happy with his training methods.”

Caballero was generally kept as back-up at Manchester City, but would arguably be brought in as first choice at West Ham.
The Hammers have struggled to find a consistent goalkeeper over the past campaign, with both Adrian and Joe Hart proving error prone.
Hart’s loan at the London Stadium has now expired, and he doesn’t look likely to stay on.
West Ham appear to have made signing a new stopper one of their top priorities this summer, and Pellegrini has plenty of money to spend to bring in his chosen additions.
Caballero made 13 appearances for Chelsea over the course of the past campaign, and was generally used as cover for Thibaut Courtois.
